Wikipedia Hacked!
July 6th, 2008 under anything goes, hacked, speech | No Comments »While doing some research, we came across a hacked link on Wikipedia which may be harmful to Windows users out there innocently clicking around on Wikipedia.
If you open the this Wikipedia URL: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_history_of_the_United…
and click the first link to “United Kingdom” you are brought to what looks like a hacked page displaying porn and possibly some harmful code. I say possibly, cause I’m not using windows but when i went to the page all of a sudden decided to open up iexplorer.exe and exploer.exe which I have installed via Wine. Here’s a screen shot of the page in case you’d rather not risk an infection.
